Today was relatively quiet—no work interruptions, no household chores to attend to beyond rinsing rice and washing vegetables. So I spent the entire day crafting articles for my content site. This project, launched just last night, focuses on the concept of “content sites” itself. Key topics include “content site development techniques,” “content site SEO optimization,” “content site writing strategies,” and “high-quality content site case studies”—a comprehensive series centered around content site-related content. So far, I’ve completed three articles. I plan to launch the site once I have fifteen articles ready and submit it to Google Search Console.
This afternoon, I planned to book a movie ticket for tomorrow to use up the movie discount voucher my company gave me. However, it turns out this is the off-season for movies—few films are in theaters, and the reviews for those that are are mediocre. So I’ve decided to wait another couple of months. After all, the voucher doesn’t expire until the end of this year, so I’ll wait until something good comes out before going.
In the evening, I first went out to buy some groceries. There’s a novel concept grocery store in our area that increases its discounts every half hour after 7 PM. So my family often heads there around 8 or 9 PM to see if we can snag any bargains. That 8-9 PM window is ideal—discounts are substantial, and plenty of items remain. Wait until 10 PM, and while discounts drop even lower, only a handful of products are left.
After getting home, I played some games. My Xbox Game Pass subscription expires tomorrow, so I skipped the XGP games and instead picked Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey from my purchased games. There’s a classic saying in gaming circles: The best Assassin’s Creed game is always the first one you play." Now I finally get what that really means. The formula feels so canned—meaningless dialogue, finding people, map-running, inventory checks… Playing Origins for thirty hours made me sick. Opening Odyssey felt exactly the same, and I logged off after half an hour.
